I've never been a scrapbooker, but these three little pieces of paper made wish I were. I couldn't take them off my dashboard without taking a pic first.

Can I assume that it cost money to get on the island to park for the day?
I pay $1.00 a day to access Marymoor Park, and the park police will, and have stopped to see the tickets. If you cant show them a ticket they will give you one, the cost of having it delivered by them is $75.00 a day. Much cheaper to stop at the machine and stick in a buck.

Yep. $6 a day, $28 a week, or $45 for the yearly pass in the form of a sticker on your back window that is laser-read and gets you through the express lane. The fee gets you ample parking, clean restrooms with changing rooms, outdoor showers and water fountains that are dog-friendly. It is also well patrolled and very clean. We leave the buggies out at night in the parking lot at the Kite Fort (Chris's RV) and there is never a problem. GA State Patrol is dialed in on the event and keeps a close friendly eye.

Jeff,

it's a $6 a day fee good for the whole day so you can go in and out........just keep it displayed in the window/on the dash...............Angus may have some intel on a JIBE rate perhaps........if your staying on the island I believe the hotels have a pass that trumps the pass at the gate.........but hey thanks for your $6 donation which goes towards free tuition for GA colleges and universities.............GO DAWGS!!!

I have a "Good to Go" Pass here for getting around on the freeways of the Puget Sound and Seattle. If I hang it on the back window they might let me by with only a warning.

I am looking forward to the turtles and the beach, I heard turtles taste alot like chicken.:smilegrin:I hope they aren't as tough as the ones at NABX.

Good to know, Plovers are a bit smaller than the game hens but then again I am on a diet. I should have room for the BBQ in the back of the truck.
I am gonna eat good on this trip, a little southern cooking with the BBQ and some Cajan seasoning, man o man, I am hungry already.

Huh?

Looks like a beer issue to me. Or maybe it was just auto-correct. Either way I hope Scotty has time to have a beer.

Being a new victim of autocorrect, I guess beer was supposed to be never. I've coined a new phrase called "Freudian autocorrect". Sometimes the little box is trying to read our minds I think.

Darned hair-triggered iPad!!!!
I was wondering if auto-correct was the forerunner of "Sky Net"?
It makes me type the word "well" twice (yup, this time too!) to avoid

To avoid having it come out as "we'll"!
Hmmm.... Wonder how good an iPad is as a Frisbee?

Last year I attended JIBE, what a great place and with all the physicalities it's well worth 6 bucks.
At that time the day pass was good for ever if you did not leave the island.
I did 10 days on one pass.
Looking forward to JIBE big time!

Angus,
OK to leave my truck parked next to the Fort for the duration? It hasn't been a problem in the past, just double checking.
