| Movember

 Hey Gang,
This has nothing to do with kites but I love this community of people so I thought I'd post it here.

I'm participating in Movember this year. If you aren’t familiar with Movember – here’s the gist: Movember challenges men to change their appearance
and the face of men’s health by growing a mustache. The mustache becomes a ribbon for men’s health, the means by which awareness and funds are raised
for cancers that affect men. Much like the commitment to run or walk for charity, the men of Movember commit to growing a mustache for 30 days.

You hear a lot about breast cancer, and the fundraising and awareness that goes along with it, but there is very little attention paid to prostate
cancer and other mens health issues - even though they affect similar numbers of men every year as breast cancer does for women.

To highlight the importance of what I am doing, take a look at these statistics:
• 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime
• This year 242,000 new cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed
• This year 8,290 men will be diagnosed with testicular cancer

One of my closest friends lost his battle with prostate cancer last year, so this is an important cause for me. If you could find it in your heart to
donate, even a dollar helps, I would be very grateful. Better yet, if you want to join my Movember team and grow a stache with me, that's all the
better. We've already raised almost $500 and its only Movember 2nd.

You can donate here: http://mobro.co/benjaminmartin
please send me a U2U if you'd like to join the cause and grow a Mo!

Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. |

Yeah Movember starts clean shaven, but I'll post a pic once I have something to show for it. |

Going great actually, here's a pic from earlier today.....just a mustache for me in true Movember style.
My team has raised over $1300 to date, but we're of course still looking for donations ;-)

Chip in a buck or two, or 10 or however much you please, every little bit helps! It's a great cause and a FUN fundraiser.

Thanks! |
