Spleene Door 154

I recently picked up a used Spleene Door 2008 model in the 154cm size. For shipping, I requested that the seller remove the fins.

This board comes with big and small fins.

Is there any benefit for installing them in a particular pattern? (Big fins on the outside or the inside?)

Big fins on your heelside-most edge ... better grip, less drag with smaller fins.

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Some of the newer boards have NO fins on the toe-side edge. Just something to think about... I've also heard recommendations to try riding it with NO fins on any side... Never tried that, but seen guys do that before and ride just fine...

big fin set from center to heel side, smaller fins center to toeside.

the fins add rail-like tracking really can lock the point of sail with out much edge effort.

a small set all around is really plenty. they don't need much

My Flydoor and the old Spleene door before it didn't have toeside-edge fins

Yep; same thing on my Spleene. It only has heel side and off-centered fin hole mounts. There are no toe side fin mounts.
