Mood: Serious Buggy withdraws!

Finally got a decent session in! Whoop!

So as some of you may have read, I did not get to get out on the buggy during one of the best days at WBB in some time! I had to go home for the day to do baseball duties!

Buuuuttt, today we did a demo at an event set up for ROTC and CAP students into rockets and space stuff! We get invited to come do demos and hang out with the kids due to our relationship with the local Aerospace Education Center.

Long story short, once we finished up there, we were only 20 minutes from the beach we ride here at home and the conditions were favorable for a change! We headed down, caught tide going out and decent onshore winds! Saddle up! Off we went, I was flying the 18m Phantom, Rian was on the 10.8 Reactor. Wasn't lightning speed, (top speed recorded by Rian was 28mph) but we had a blast! Put in about 12 miles or so. I did have to chase my buggy down once, I went into a power slide to liven up my turn and my Spreader bar came unhooked, Jumped out of the buggy before anything crazy happened, forgot we were riding on a very sloped beach, I look back and the buggy is up to the back rest in the water. Needless to say, I got a little wet, but it was so worth it!

Ride On!
