What kite was that? (WWBB UFK sighting)

A UFK (Unidentifed Flying Kite) seen from a distance Friday afternoon (closer to the pier) at the Crest:

- relatively low aspect, (possibly a depower?)
- bold black, white and bright orange design
- very distinct flat-squared tips

(The design was def. a more modern one, not like the old square-end Sky Tiger or Stacker types.)

Anyone seen it and know what it was?

Oh, down by the pier? The one by the beach? :saint::smug:

Edit- Ok, I thought my smartbutt comment was warranted but this is in the WBB forum so that does narrow it down quite a bit.

heh-heh...only one (tall, fishing) pier bordering the Crest meetup area...to the north of the WWBB banners off Rosemary.
I only saw it a few blocks north from the banners, but it was gone by the time I moseyed down there in the fog. (otherwise, I'd have a pic of it).

...lot'sa B/W/O kites out there (my fave color combo),
but this was no Vapor, chunkier, w/ squared-off tips (or very angled-down round tips!!) Must have been a least a 6-8m.
It wasn't moving too much.

It just looked different from any other kite I saw down there this year.

Someone was flying a Quadfoil that was orange, white and black. Very rectangular kite and nice power.
