Georgia Pig Closed
I'm Sorry to report that the GA Pig Barbecue near exit 29 is now closed. A lot of JIBE attendees enjoyed going there for authentic southern BBQ. As
good as it was it was a weird place and we have had our doubts about its sustainability for some time, but it is still sad to see it go. It had an
international reputation.
For authentic local barbecue that is not a chain restaurant, we still have Gary Lee's Meats and Barbeque a couple of miles to the west of the GA Pig.
Take RT 17/25 south past I-95 then go straight across the intersection at the 2nd light and Mobile station on Rt 82 West, then less than a mile on
your right. Gary Lee's also has great fine meats and super steaks for those of you renting houses or camping and grilling.

Cosmic! I was talking to inlaws this past weekend about memorable diners and BBQ places , The Pig being one of them. For us , that place was as much a
part of JIBB as the ship wreck.

What was the name of the other place some of us went to that had great ribs and other goodies as well. It was right by the water, something like Sea
Jays or something.. They had the best stacked ribs I have ever had!
Sorry about the other place, but you may look for this place as an alternative. They had an outside covered deck to eat at as well!

We had shrimp and bloody marys at seajays... Lol good place! We ran into a couple kite bums there we had oysters, shrimp, all good stuff you cant get in nebraska, and these guys order a burger.... Wth? good hanging with frank and pokite tho
The pig was right after the turn off, pretty much right across the street from the gas station... That place was so awesome, all that hot sauce!!
4 things on the menu lol
1 meat
2 meats
3 meats
4 meats
After a long day of kiting, and not eating anything since my bowl of frosted flakes at 6am... 4 meats was exactly what I needed! Very chill guys that
ran it too... Damn this sux
