Remembering AJ
"Remember AJ" was the theme of NABX 2012.
On Thursday night we showed collection of AJ photographs that may choke you up a little.
http://vimeo.com/39384028
These pictures were taken over a 10 year span by my wife Katy and I during some of the good times and adventures we had with Charles.
The photos are from Galveston, Texas; Niagara Falls, NY; Hatteras Island, NC; Ivannpah Dry Lake, CA.
I recall AJ really enjoying his visits to Lake Mohave for kiteboarding whenever he would attend NABX. I was fortunate to visit 6 Mile Beach for the
first time and kite Sunday after NABX this year. I could not stop thinking about him.
Rest in peace my brother.

AJ will always be missed by those that knew him. You did an awesome job talking about your experiences with AJ over the years on Thursday night. I
have a huge regret that I never got to ride with him at Ivanpah and Nabx.

Sad but very nice Chris.
For some reason the shots of him flying the OR kites hurt the most ?
Good to see you again.

Only ever knew him online, but his zest for flying always encouraged me to go out rather than stay in.
He'll be missed for a very long time. Like the artist Banksy said, "you really die twice. Once when your life ends, and again when someone says your
name for the last time." AJ will be with us for a very long time.
Tide? What's a tide? Man, it's 1000 miles to any ocean.

Gone but not forgotten... only knew him online, but I felt like I knew him!
