Handles / Bar

Do all FB kites work best and are generally supplied w/ handles??
Bars being correct for the depowers. Just trying to get my mind right for the next purchase.
i have come to love my 2m pepper w/ handles and want to get going on a landboard next. My other kite being a 3m 2 line trainer.
Need to figure out my next purchase.
i live at the beach and sorry folks..... have wind everyday

2 things. Fixed bridle kites can work on a bar, but you won't have the same control and finesse. Landboarders tend to more often use a depower kite to aid in jumping and power control. Learning what makes a kite fly on handles will serve you well when you make your way to a depower kite later.

I'd start with a 7m low aspect depower and fly it in low winds for quite a while.
Make sure you start flying with that board when you do though.

Too much static can be bad for your health.

PL makes boss kites for both land+water.
can be picked up cheap 2nd hand here

Words of wisdom from BB and Dandre both!

I see more boarders using depower than any other foil. I personally like depower in the buggy for long park and ride sessions, handles for more aggressive days. If you are leaning in the depower direction, look into the HQ Apex. Great kite!! Was my first depower  Predictable, stable, and forgiving for beginners yet fun for more advanced riders as well. The price point on the Apex is great too!

I have a shot at a 3m BeamerIII/handles or a ScoutII 5m/bar, both on my commute home.
both new, 150 or 300$.
Could you say one would be better than the other for my next step?
i have like 100+hrs on what i have and think my 2 lines days are numbered and it needs
a new home (god bless it)

Not sure what you have now, but I spent years with a 2 line HQ Symphony, then got a Beamer 3m and I think it was a good progression. I had several other fixed bridle kites over a few years and then eased into depower with a Montana 9.5m. I have no regrets about the path I've taken.
