plastic or aluninum spacers

Hey all, I have been reading and thought I would throw this in, I used to race Karts and the spacers I used on my kart to offset the wheels should work, they came in different sizes. would the ID be to big?

Plastic and aluminum spacers both work well and size is not crucial. They only need to be big enough in diameter for the mounting bolts to fit through. Mine are 1/2 inch dia.
