I'm new here, and want to become a member of the community, but wanted to share my vid that I uploaded to hams.tv (a site where you submit funny / cool vids to win prizes). Anyway, I'm trying to get into kite surfing, as I see several kite surfers around the area (I'm from SD CA). I was wondering if there's anyone from around the area that could give me advice to get started around here, in particular (such as shops, breaks, clubs, etc.) any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may want to give Traig a call at Monkey Air Kite surfing. Traig deals in many different types of kites as well as gives full time lessons.

Monkey Air is located in Malibu but they do travel up and down the coast quite frequently and their instructors are some of the best in the industry.
