Ivanpah meetup 10/27-11/5

so I'm headed out to vegas for halloween (climbing,kiting, partyin) and I was hopin' some locals could come down and teach me and my friends a thing or two about kiting.

We'll be up at the lake bed for a day or two and I'd love to meet some people/ have a good time kiting.

Surely I can get out in that big window of time. You set up with your use permit for Ivanpah?

I don't have the dates nailed down just yet. Once it gets a little closer i'll seal the deal on the permit.

You need to see about your permit now. I just got mine and it is good for a year from now.

Yeah, if you wait too long to request the permit, it won't have time to come in the mail. It is a 1 year permit expiring Oct. 1st.

do either of you have a contact Phone or email or snail mail for the BLM office where we can get permits .... (working on tying in NABX 2012 with a visit to the snow birding parents in Ariz.....) with luck I will be able to cross it off my signature section....LOL

Ivanpah site

There is a link halfway down on the right for obtaining a permit.

No personal permit required if you are attending a NABX event. You would be under the event permit.

If you are out with one of use locals, you would fall under our permit so you wouldn't need to obtain one for yourself. If you are going out solo then you would need your own permit.
