I will not skip out on my sister-in-law wedding to fly kites. I will not skip out on my sister-in-law wedding to fly kites. I will not skip out on
my sister-in-law wedding to fly kites.
Think if I say it enough I can stop thinking about missing a wedding in NYC.

Hey, Dave, how long have you known about the kite festival/Harvest of the Arts, being the 1st of Oct.? I just found out about it yesterday! Are lots
of the Connectikiters coming? I'm pretty sure the NYKE gang is gonna be there, too! Is the Kidd coming too? 3 buggies on the horse track should
really spark some interest! Can't wait!
Sorry about the weather Cheezy, but now when you reschedule, maybe I can make it!

Well I fought with the idea of postponing this all day on Fri... Apparently it was the right decision. Crash went out to FBF on Saturday and while
there was no rain there was no wind either...

So thats what happened. The girl at DD was pouring me coffee as you posted the message! When Morgans school called to see why he was out I told them
"He's on a little adventure with me" I had a nice route picked out but just before I95S I decided to follow tomtom, BAD MOVE! It took us over some
draw bridge staight into new construction and I had to shift to "defensive manouvers" . Being a dark cloudy rainy day I just barely had a grasp of my
compass directions (had'nt set up the gps with the compass icon). Somehow I keep us headed east and I'm not sure which came first the ? tunnel or the
Brooklin bridge but tomtom is now back on track taking us to Flatbush ave in the heart of downtown. Being a country bumpkin and having been to NY 3
times in my life a few choice words and slight feeling of panic filled the van , oh and the gas was less than a 1/4 tank. Morgan got a quick on the
fly lesson in gps navigation and I adjusted to the bump and grind of driving in NY.
We did make it to FB and yea the wind sucked , did some fishing with the boys from Brooklyn "you dumb f*** that aint no fish you got a rock" "what the
f*** do you know maybe its a rockfish", checked out the warbird hanger , worked with the park service cleaning up a stretch of beach , watched more
than a few 747's and big Airbus's , survived the mosquitos in the camping area, dodged the park police notified of our "unauthorized" camping
location. I had fun Morgan sais "well its not Wildwood." See you in a couple of weeks!

Man if you and I ever travel together I bet we would get commited by the end. You sound just like me yelling at the damned GPS for sending me the
wrong way!! Good thing for the kids we have. Cameron just takes it away from me resets it and starts it over again. In the mean time I'm still
grumbling and cursing at it and I know it does it on purpose. Damn electronic crap!!
