Goals for JIBE 2011?
I know we are all going to JIBE to have some fun in the sun, but I'm curious to see who has anything special they would like to achieve while they are
there. Post em up!
I want to top 40 mph in the buggy, get a handle on boarding (land), and learn the ins and outs of arcs.

I want to work on my depower skills and get some quality depower seat time. And, well, check out my mood!
I want to see about filling the hole in my quiver.
I wouldn't exactly say 40mph is a goal for me too, but it would be kinda cool....
But enough about me - what I really want to see is the Todd and Tridude show.

I want to fly a lot of different kites. I want to do a down and back with every kite I can get my hands on. I want to try every kind of Arc. I want
to fly every kind of depower. I want to fly something big and floaty in the marginal winds. In short, I want to be the biggest kite ho on the beach.
If you see me flying something from my own quiver and want to swap just say the word.
I'm bringing both buggies and a few hitches. I want to give rides. I want to be somebody's camera platform.
I want to buggy with the pack.
I want to learn to kite surf.
Is that enough to fill 4 days?

OK Gang, glad to see the stoke is on, because the easterlies are starting to dial in!!!
I have Phanny 15 and 19 and a post-repair Charger 19 that I need to fully evaluate.
Ozone has a new distributor that sounds reliable, so I am back with them and should have some demos there (flow, Method, Access, maybe Frenzy)
Both Craig and Chris from HQ will be down and will have tons of Demo gear.
I am working on pennant flags to plant in the sand at just the other side of the shipwreck; come back with one and get an "I made it to the Shipwreck
T-shirt!" (direct cost may apply if I cannot get a sponsor).
The hickory smoke is wafting from the GA Pig every day!
Guided Sea Turtle Center tour is 9 am Friday AM. New exhibits, new science and new patients (but poor Griffin is still there floating with too much
gas in his shell). $10
Those that can bring tandem gear will be appreciated. TV news and weather personality from JAX Tim Deegan will be covering the event, so lets get a
ride for him and his camera!

So we need a tandem for Tim and a tandem for the photographer. I could enjoy the challenge. As long as there's no sound guy involved I think we can
handle that. ;-)

Damn. That's quite an offer. I have one already, but if I had two I could bring a phriend to phly my Phantom.
I'm going to raise the stakes. I have been making sausage bags for my Arcs. It's a great way to store them if you like leaving the spars assembled.
They're light weight and easy to load the kite into. They keep the kite from unspooling and keep the sun and sand off the kite while it sits packed
on the beach. The keep the kite away from dirt and other hazards while in transport. I'll make one to fit the 15m Phantom. What color is the prize?
I'll see if I have fabric to color match it.
If I am counting right there were 4 15m Phantoms listed in attendance at JIBE just in this thread. I believe pokite has one as well. Maybe we should
have a class race on Friday?

I plan to get on the water, get on the mountain board and let the bug whip me again.
The water dream MUST come true for me to have achieved what the kite's started years ago.
Put the hitch on the car today and have the stowaway carrier ready to go. Still no good way to haul the Proof 151 buts it coming.
15 Phanny? Still got that never inflated never unfolded orange and black one hanging on the wall. What to do, what to do with it?
The best part will be seeing all you guys again.

I'll get a bunch of rebar, webbing & 'Beeners for ground anchors and we'll have an ARC park (Phanny pharm). If marked and tagged and left high
near the dunes, we should be able to leave them (the anchors) overnight throughout the week.

Count me in for the Phanny race! I'll have the 15, 18, and 6 in tow. If Chad can make it I'm sure he'll bring his arsenal of Phantoms as well.
Goal? Just to get there and hang out with some great people, that's it.
