looking for a new flexifoil scout for this season any out there?

What are you riding now? I mean other than your regular daily ride. Good luck with your search. Glad to see you posting, did you attend NABX this year?

I am currently in a peterlynn comp XR+ with a ton of mods and i still have my apexx but it looks like i will be selling it today, as one of our crew that was down at nabx this year is now looking for a racebuggy after being out on the playa wishing he had a bigger machine around him. i couldnt make it this year ,took the family over to maui for three weeks and that was all good but when i got home and recieved my daughters cell bill for 2400 bucks which depleted my nabx fund.o well live and learn ,kids gotta love them , i bet i cost my dad some cash along the way haha

I've gotta ask, how you got blindsided with a cell bill like that?

Three weeks in Hawaii + roaming charges + teen aged girl? :dunno: It wouldn't take too long. Sorry for the sticker shock. Gotta love them kids, and today's tech. They understand everything, except where the bill goes. (Sorry, takes out of your kite/buggy budget!)

Daaaaaaaaaannnng..... not sure if that beats my $1200+ land line bill a few years back...

Long distance relationships... it all starts with a shoe to the head.... sigh.

Definitely sticker shock. :o One of the first things I do on a cell phone is lock roaming down, so that I have to explicitly engage it. Someone at work got burned by that in Europe to a really painful tune.

that is so funny Blade because when i think of good old frankinbuggy it has always been the reason i wouldnt buy a flexi buggy and now i want that new scout more than any buggy out there haha.yes the apexx is safe and still on our home turf

Well...I cleaned the buggy and got her all assembled today (after NABX)
It was about 2 in the afternoon so I thought I would check out GP (to late to set up,fly and be back by 6)
Low and behold DS was out flying so I had to take a pic with my iphone.

just like Christmas at my house tonight , brand new flexi scout sitting in the middle on the living room floor . i have to say our wives and or significant others seem to have become accustom to these type of events as there were no issues with building and sitting in this new ride right in the middle of the house it only took 14 years of kiting to get to this level ,anyway nice looking buggy and i cant wait to try it out tomorrow:wee:now i have to start tearing down the XR+ and getting it ready to move to sunny Florida :shocked2: thanks Rip , coolbreeze and kitemama, i mean kitebuggymama
