Just returned from a week on the road touring the mountain states of Wyoming, Idaho, Utah and Montana. Here is a link to photos and a story about the
Snowkite Rodeo and the road trip.

It was unfortunate that the Rodeo and NABX overlapped this year, as I would love to have attended both. Each event is a family gathering of the kite
tribe. It was a hard decision when we hit I-15 and made the call to turn North instead of South. With good friends in both directions ready to fly
kites, we realized the lake bed would still be there next week (although empty) but the snow would soon melt for the season.
Along the way I kited along I-15 at the Montana border town of Monida. Its the snowy version of Primm. As Semi-Trucks pulled off to watch me kiting
the roadside snow banks, I wondered how many would pass by Ivanpah and see more kites buggying along that highway on their journey south.
