Video - Great Sacandaga Lake (New York)

Great day on the lake today, winds were 18-24, ice was thick, snow was thicker, nice layer of fresh powder from the storm earlier this week.

Yeah! Nice video, I especially liked the 'exhaustion' shot. I could get one of myself like that after just setting up my kite!

What the hell? More of that white stuff!

Who do we need to hassle to get some white stuff here?

Nice!

Thanks guys, the snow was just awesome, perfect depth and consistency to just float, but enough substance to blast upwind as you please, best snow I've been on in 2 years. They are calling for another 8-12" on Wednesday so next weekend should be dy no mite.

To B-roc, that was the 9.5m Montana IV, perfect power for my plus sizzedness in those conditions, great kite.

Erm..., actual lessons will be arranged through Zeb's website/phone ahead. Trainer kite flights will be offered by myself and a few other locals to interested parties that register for the event. But everyone is welcome for sure!

CJ Kiting with a sled are you kidding I'm inventing the sport.
Google the "rocket" $ 100 kneel and lean to steer.
Snowboogie makes a similar black blow molded kneel and lean to steer ,$ 35 , I own 3, best sled I've ever owned and I have tried or owned almost everykind of sled ever made!
Either one of these is guaranteed fun!.
