kiting in the boston area


got out today on lake quannapowitt wakefield ma. with the ice buggy [thanks rick g.] ice is 3 inches,patches of ice and snow ,rode over a line but it was a pig tail ,so able to fix on the ice ,had a wicked good time,must get extra line set.

Wow, I was down in Burlington today and all the ice I saw from Ossipee NH south looked wicked sketch. How shallow is that lake?

I'll check Massabesic in the morning. Hopefully it has at least 4 inches.

@ Feyd, after watching your video at chocorua I thought of going up there to fly,,,,,,,till I looked on the map and saw where it is:no:. Maybe I'll make the 2 hour drive and head up there this weekend.:thumbup:

Yeah that's the thing. We get good riding pretty early but we're hell and gone from most places.

Long drive unless you know for sure you're gonna get to ride. Choco is a safe bet though wind wise. I might be nasty wind but there's usually wind.
