working or pumping the kite


Is pumping/working the kite legal in Class 8 racing if you are not interfering? In almost all water sailing this is prohibited.

Kite companies seem to be moving in opposite directions: Peter Lynn is making 24m kites, while Sky Country is making 8m speed wings.
