With all the talk about Jibe 2011 I figured I'd wet the appetite more. Any photos not credited to Craig are mine and I will welcome shots from others. Phil, you have a good close-up shot of the shipwreck mast that I would like a copy of. I need something for a shipwreck "logo" for the "I made it to the shipwreck" T-shirt.

I'm going to plant pennant flags in the sand on the other side of the ship mast, and anyone that comes back with one gets the special shirt. It will be a badge of honor because the shipwreck run is a good test of buggy skills with many points of sail, upwind and downwind.

The shopping center is torn down now and the convention center is next. They are building a new road and replacing the intersection in front of the old convention center with a round-about closer to the island entrance. It is supposed to be done in 8-10 months, which means 18 months in island government time. So the island will be a mess during JIBE, but detours will be clearly marked and our staging areas and the beach will be un-touched.

As long as they don't have the beach under construction we'll be OK.

I had my favorites of the shipwreck up there already, but I just added some more photos to my JIBE 2010 set on Flickr. See http://www.flickr.com/photos/pbchase/sets/72157623958331093/ That's every photo of the shipwreck and some other stuff I like. I hope you find something useful.

As to credits, i shot all of these. So you're free to use them so long as the T-Shirt looks cool. :-)
