Coming to Colorado the 4th -11th.

Gonna be in Avon for a week snowboarding with my girl. Would love to check out some snowkiting around there. Saw some info about Dillon Reservoir. Is that the only place and how is the wind there?

Dillon's not the only place but it's the easiest to get out of the car and ride at.....But it's not frozen enough yet to ride on.

If this weather holds, it's more ATB sessions. Had a nice 3 hours out today on the ATB! Heck there was even a buggy out today.

Tide? What's a tide? Man, it's 1000 miles to any ocean.

What month are you coming? Cause yeah, although it is starting to get some decent base in some areas now.... the lake is still unfrozen and the open passes are barely kiteable.

Coming in December....is there anywhere else close to Avon to snow kite that will have enough snow?
