I Know What You Did This Summer - ONLINE!!!

http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o7/ripsessionkites/Boxcov...

http://vimeo.com/15230131

Its now 0527am and Im at YVR waiting for my first flight than its another 8 hours off to Amsterdam.

I plan to complete a movie by the time I land and upload it at Ruudje's or Ozzy's house.

If you have been following my FB page, thank you all for the kind words and encouragement. This has been six months or so in the making, with practice, begging from sponsors, etc, but its totally worth all the wait to get this far.
Thank to all that have supported me along the way. you know who you are, the list goes on and on and I dont want to miss anyone.

Focused and Ready To Race ... well after I get some sleep or Redbull. :wee:

Very nice shots of the kites. Def a low wind day. I was hoping to see some fancy racing turns but they were all doing stuff I know how to do. I'll keep watching and learning.

okay i have finally arrived in Holland and Im at Ozzy's House. Hello from Holand. The winter is the same as Vancouver BC so there wasnt much to get to use to, however things are going well now that I have left the airport

as you know my first flight was cancelled until 1030am which make me miss my connecting flight in MDS. I was suppose to at MDS at 1430pm and be on the next flight at 1545pm. I arrived at MDS at 1610 and I had to run to the next terminal to get my flight at 1730. So much for seeing the Mall of America in the time I had not like i really cared. anyways after 36 hours plus and sitting at YVR in the first place for over 6hrs Im really to buggy. oh but wait that wasnt the end of the madness, because of the quick connection my luggage didnt make it on board, so when I arrived at AMS at 0830am. I than had to wait another 2 hours plus because it was on the next airplane inbound. ruudje and i had some lunch.

the movie got done and im uploading now. got some pics of the PL HQ and got the inside scoop on the 2011 products. I cant say more but look out for the some wicked stuff.

at the moment the winds are going to be light for WC ... the bigger guys are a little pissed off right now at the min 2 - 4 m/s.

current plan is to stay behind John and Arie and at the last moment pass. I will come in either 1,2 or 3 place based on the "lite weight" advantage I now have plus the Vapor 16m (summer session practices)

ive seen the dungeons of Peter Lynn NL and Vliegerop ... WOW!!!

today I go to Bowserdam and practice with Ruudje and Ozzy and some members of the Spain team.

great day at Brouwserdam today ... winds where light to start and I couldn't wait longer to get riding. First the heavy rain was there, and cleared quickly and Ozzy and I setup the buggies and went for some runs. the wind dropped and I had a run on Ozzy's 16m just to prove that little asian guys can hold down big kites. Wind came up and I downsized to the 7.8m than spent the day trailing behind Ozzy (damn he is fast!!!) Sand driving is so much fun, and the little humps on the beach make for great buggy jumps/ramps. Ozzy drove to 56km and I was at 51km (i got in trouble for going passed the boundaries as I didn't notice the buoys on the water and on the beach, oops)
You all really need to put this place on your wishlist of places to visit. Wow!!!
Funny thing happened as I was following Ozzy upwind, and as I made my upwind turn my rear wheel came off. I felt like Arie for 30 seconds, and I've know learned to not let Ruudje tighten my buggy or I need to check it myself first.

Ruudje spend the time filming us, and we mounted gopro cameras on Ozzy and myself so there will be great video coming out the BC Xxtreme House shortly.

Tomorrow is Ouddorp for more practice as I will follow Ozzy around his course.
