Some time ago, Bladerunner was kind enough to provide me with a pair of old coyote frames. The idea was to come up with a solution for all those big footed people (like myself) who are not able to find a properly sized pair of Coyotes.

We have to assume that all Coyotes (no matter what boot size use the same size of frames. In this case we will need the help of Coyote owners with small size feet to provide us with info about their coyotes' frame size. :puzzled:

OK. Starting with the boot adjustment...
I used my SEBA FR boots since they are my favorites and fit me excellent, although they do not seem to be as high as the Coyote boots. Anyway. try to find a pair of tall, hard cell inline boots that fit you nice and tight and if possible have a wide combination of holes underneath for frame attachment.
Tighten the heel bolt on the frame like this...

Then measure the distance between the frame and the boot on the front part. In my case it was 1cm. The width was 6cm. Since, not only the heel is higher than the toe but there is also an angle between them (they are not parallel), I used a piece of metal with a small length and placed it on the back part of the toe so that it would allow the angle to be absorbed by the elasticity of the boot. My dimensions were L=5cm, W=6cm, H=1cm

Finally I used the Skikes (6 inches x 1 1/2 inch) wheels that I found on this shop

I used them with my kites on tarmac (no time for more sessions) and they run fine. Very very stable and easy to turn (compared to my trailskates) and quite fast (for all of my 254lbs). :singing: I am planning to use them with my kitewing and also on dirt.:roll:

Now that I have the frames I will try to find a way to "kind of" dublicate them so that everybody will be able to own a "coyote like" pair of skates with a few hours of relatively easy work... but this will happen after my summer vacation which I will dedicate to my kitesurfing equipment!!! :wee:

PS.: Please note that this is a very fresh modification that worked fine for me so far! I have only used it twice so please be very careful if you try it and do it at your own risk.

Indeed! Not only have they a great turning radius but they also allow you to move a lot faster than with the inlines and with a feeling of safety and stability! Its a great choice for kiteskating and such a pity that they are out of production ...gotta do something about it :ticking:

nice skates, I use the Coyote frame with the Rollerblade Twister 2 boot an the original Coyote wheels.
I would also like to replace the original wheels with the Skike wheels, but they did not fit into the frame using the original frame spacer.

How did you mount the Skike wheels into the coyote frame? Could you post some usefull hints and pics?
