Well I'm a nubie also who is getting into power kiting through the buggy avenue. I'm presently gearing up to get ready for the winter winds. (also
hope to kite ski this winter)
I purchased 2 videos.
1. HQ Powerkites "How to Buggy Kitebuggy School Video". I don't mean to be negative, but one needs to be totally un-enlightened to get anything
from it.
2. Power Kiting How-to-Guide (powerkiteshop.com). I've only watched part of it, but it appears to be fairly complete. It covers: Power Kiting,
Kite Buggying, Kite Buggy Bike, Landboarding and Inline Boarding.
I assume that alot of the manuvers and kite flying/positioning are the similar and applicable to kite skiing.
We generally have more wind in the winter so there should be some good opportunities for buggying and if there's snow...skiing!

Not lame at all . Just be aware that you will need a pretty good wind to get going cross / upwind with a big buggy and small kite. Enjoy running
downwind when the wind is too light rather the get frustrated. Carry a tow rope to get back upwind.
+1 for the all the info at coastalwindsports!

Thanks for the encouragement guys. Yes, the Sensei is just enough with about a 10 mph breeze with hard packed ground. Needs a bit more for grass and
I'm sure even more with sand. We have some good dunes here and I'm hoping the 8m Charger will be adequate though I expect I'll need 15-20 for that.
My first day was my best for speed...got a whopping almost 15 (GPS).:wee: Thursday I got a number of continuous turns in...no stopping. Now all I
need is more windy days and the bigger kite.

I believe you are right about knowing you will want a 15m soon!
Don't expect your 8m Charger to deliver much power in lower winds. Similar to your Senei . In those higher winds you will have a much more technical
kite. Be careful. I am pretty experienced and find my 10m Charger demands maximum respect ! FAST and hunts for zenith !
