Not sure on the exact date yet, but usually in the second week of October. or so If you are going to stay at the Apollo you should be o.k. A lot of
the guys stay there, should be enough room. I am sure they will announce the dates soon. Keep an eye out. The chatter will pick up before you know it.
See you in October!

We're working on getting a date up soon but yes more than likely it will be close to the middle of the month. Also.. look for a new section coming
soon to the Official Events Forums on PKF!

Wildwood Buggy Bash 2010 Fall
All I can say now is it will be Oct. 8, 9, and 10 (new moon low tides) or Oct. 22, 23,and 24 (full moon low tides).
The first weekend there is a Soccer Tournament in Wildwood which means the Apollo may be full and their rates are $20.00 per night more than we paid
in May.
The second weekend has nothing big happening in Wildwood but the Apollo is closing Oct. 11th.
I’ll be in Wildwood next week for a couple days and will talk with the Apollo about staying open till Oct. 24.
I will also check out some other motels as an alternative.
If anyone has any suggestions please reply.

Don

If the Apollo cannot stay open, talk to the folks at the Days Inn of Wildwood. The last time I stayed there, we talked with the manager about the
Wildwood buggy bash, and they were willing to cut us a deal in the interest of bringing more folks to the inn. They stay open all year round, so that
wont be an issue. The rooms are decent, but not right on the beach. They are located right next to the convention center. Its a very short walk to the
beach from there (cross a street and you are there). Not nearly as conveinent as the Apollo, but it is an option...
The other place we might be able to check out would be the Aqua Beach Resort. Rooms are REALLY nice. Walking distance to the Fishing Pier (2 blocks).
Price is a bit higher, but most of their condos have enough rooms that you can double, triple, or even get four couples comfortably into a condo
(which knocks the price down into a much more reasonable range). You'll need to talk with the owner about it though, as I'm not sure if they will
still be open...

I'm not really worried about the location, as I have a condo that is available, I just need to know the date so I can reserve it for that week asap.

If we are discussing which weekend would be better, I would lean towards the later one. Better chance of fewer people on the beach... Though, if its a
nice weekend, there will be people there regardless...

Don is there any new news about the dates? We are hoping to make it back down as we had a great time and want to do it again.
The Apollo was fine in the spring but no buggy eating spiders in our room. We looked!! But what ever is open would be fine. A place to sleep!!

Too far for me I'm afraid, but I like looking at all the get-togethers and wishing I was there.
Still trying to convince the wife that SOBB is close enough to go to.:dunno:
