Does any one now of a good Placce near Atlanta to ATB kite:puzzled:?

In PERRY there's a huge RV/rodeo complex area i remember it "looking" like a good spot. not sure on access? old air strips in Warner Robins? go south or SE . couple of turf farm down I-20 a ways. def looking at a 2hour round trip unless you no of metro soccer field. kitedog would know

I'd be interested in this as well. One of my college choices is GA tech and I was wondering if it would be a waste to bring kites there or not

About 2 1/2 hours into Aiken SC, your welcome to fly at OOBE field (out of buggy experience Field..) actually in Beech Island, SC. a HUGE open polo field that we meet up at occasionally but I fly there with a few others every few days so if your up for a road trip...

Its been nick named OOBE Field because we get alot of flaky gusty inland wind.

Sometimes 5 mph to "scream like a girl-get nuked" wind...

Will have to look into that. Going to be stuck in ATL for a few more years. 2 1/2 hours does not seam that bad.

Yea, Kitedog has been to Aiken a couple times, make contact with him if you havn't yet.
