2 1sts

We made to most out of the little we had yesterday.

Solaris took her 1st runs as a snowkiter. She is very talented and brave. Not even the icey conditions could get her from trying. Her 10m Alasca did the job and she was off on the second try. She would have been off in 1 if there was any real wind to have worked. :wow:  Within a few runs she was riding one handed and relaxed. She is a natural and that SC is proving to be almost a 1 kite quiver for snow !
I think this proves it's bottom is good, now we have to find the top end ! LOVE the AlaSCa :wee:

Coolbreeze is an amazing fabricator but too shy to show off on here. He has made some hard core skis for his " ice buggy " set-up. :wow: :thumbup::thumbup: The setup is perfect and he got it out. It needs more wind to run but it proved itself and his knees will be thankful. Our biggest open cell was the 7.7 twister. We needed a bigger Reactor for the buggy but the Twister was doing the job on skis. I'm growing in to it ?

Nothing like having somebody come out for the 1st runs + the run of a new machine to make up for sub 9 winds ! Goot job, both of you ! I'll post the bit of footage I got soon.

I've heard that the AlSCasa is made of light material and is a good light wind performer. Any guesses at the low end for a light rider on hardpack snow?

Yesterday we had Icey hardpack. Coolbreeze weighs in higher than Solaris or I and he was riding with it in about 5mph wind. As soon as you could feel the wind , you could ride. This was the case for the 6.8 ( ? ) Reactor II and my 7.7 Twister II with all 3 of us riding in next to no wind. The wind maxed out at about 7 and Tonya said she go lifted accidentally on a transition !

Yes, the Alasca's material is light but tough !

Thanks Bladerunner :)
All I can say I had lots of fun, felt like a super rider and today still feel very sore (every muscle of my body is still aching)
(I still have couple demos of AlaSCa, if someone is interested to ride)
