West Coast US?
We're planning our "long way home" from NABX and taking the scenic route up so naturally I'm wondering if, in early to mid April, there are any:
A) Noob friendly Kitesurf locations between San Diego and Seaside Where I could continue trying to hone (aka 'find') my skills
B) Buggy friendly stretches of beach that would be "you gotta come ride here if you're in the area" kinda places
(Even better if there are PKF members in these places to act as pseudo-guides)

If you are going as far as Seaside, then you gotta hit Sunset beach. It's about 2-3 miles farther north up Hwy 101 of Seaside proper. What kind of
time frame are you looking at? About three hours east of Seaside you would find the Columbia river gorge. Big time kite boarding there. I would
pretty well say you will find what you are after just about the whole drive up. There are parts of the northern Cal/Southern Oregon stretch that are
pretty much rocky bluff kind of coast, but still way worth seeing.

Ona Beach-south of Newport Oregon. The beach rivals Sunset Beach with the right winds. No cars to contend with, however parking is limited.
South jetty Newport. primitive facilities, no driving on beach, but at least you can watch the fishing boats come and go.
Have the first weekend off after nabx if you're heading thru.

Thank you. I was pretty sure of those locations, but didn't want to sound dumb(er) if I was wrong. Not a water kite guy yet.

Wow...I think this could end up being the trip of all trips. The return route after NABX is Vegas, Yuma for a few days to see friends, then to San
Diego where we point North and follow the coast up all the way to the ferry terminal to Vancouver Island from Olympia or whatever that is. I better
not stow the gear too deep!
Keep the tips comin'. Maybe I can secretly plan all of our RV stops somewhere where I can go for a morning run. Of course the onshores probably don't
really go until the heat of the days starts up? It's onshores that are best for long buggy cruises?

Hmm...Alvord. I was thinking about going there on the way down. Windey roads through NV that way though.
