California Buggy Spots

So the girl pointed out that I should go on a trip with my time off this month.

Any recommendations for spots in California? Preferably inexpensive...

I don't know about you but anywhere there is some wind sounds inviting. And if you can find a place like that then let us know.

Oh sorry didn't we tell you ....we had to sell our wind to China for economic stimulus under the "Bills for Breezes" program....

Dear China,
Please give my regards to our money, and our wind.

What if, for the sake of argument, we assumed that there was wind to be had. Where would a cool getaway be then? Camping perhaps?

Primm Nevada right on the Cali boarder is where we stay for NABX

You have a few dry lakes to ride right there . The complex is 3 large hotel / casinos , an amusement park , monorail, and an outlet mall all abot 20 min from Vegas. Rooms are crazy cheap during the week . Food as well.

Wind , it's priceless.

You need a permit to ride Ivanpah but can apply online to Needles BLM or just ask someone who is there to cover you on their permitt. Roach and Jean lake are both free access.

Driving and camping Highway 1 and 101 is a great thing to do. That includes Oregon.

There is a place between half moon bay and santa cruz called coastanoa koa. Nice place to camp. Then about 10 miles south of the camp ground there is a kite surfing mega spot. They stick to the north of the beach ... on a low tide you have a nice run south.
