Ozone Frenzy '05 5m

I've had the kite for 6 months now. Some thoughts

- Safety System - Awesome. Best I've ever seen in terms of
simplicity, speed, recovery and effectiveness. Every kite will have a system like this in the next couple years.

- Kite / Bridle. I was initially concerned about the pulleys in the bridle. With the de-power system attached to the front lines the kite is steered using the back brake lines. This does slow the kite down, but well worth the added safety. Perhaps up-size to compensate for this. The pulley / bridle system is so good, I'm looking into making something similar for my 4.9 Blade.

- Stability - Awesome in great wind. I still pull out my Blade when the wind dies down a bit. The flys noticeably slower than the blade of the same size.

- Jumps - I was able to get some HUGE air with it in 30K + gusts, but in those conditions, any kite would have you off the ground. Like all 5.0 meter kites, landings are pretty rough.

- For me the best range is 20 - 30 kph, but I don't really like jumping all that much. I'm sure other guys could fly it in stronger wind without a problem. With the de-power, and other safety systems, I feel more confident bringing it out in gusty conditions

-- Just had this kite out in 20k winds snowboarding on a lake --
Performance was awesome, great power / de-power.

What would you say the wind range is with it?

See my updates above. I'm comfy in the 15 - 30 kph range, more than that and big gusts loft you, and with a kite this small you land pretty hard.
