| ozone turbo control bar question

im looking to get the new ozone turbo bar but, really dont understand it. all i know is everyone ive heard from swears by it. now i guess my actual
question is, what does pulling the bar in and out do ? does it increase the power or decrease it or what ? seeing its for fixed bridle kites i dont
see how it could increase the power. could someone possibly clear this all up for me ?
it seems like a realy question time with me tonight, thanks everyone.

 -Ollie

PS. ive read the description of the bar on retail websites and just dont really understand it.

 thanks

Pulling in on the ozone bar is the same as pulling in more on the bottom lines if your using handles. It simply applies a little brake for a little
extra power just like handles. |

the power lines go through the bar, and the brakes go to the bar, so you are steering by the brakes. the pulley system gives you a mechanical
advantage over the pull of the kite . If you pull on the bar it apllys the brakes just like you do w handles to land. I just copied the idea w/ an
alloy bar some pulleys and dyneema cord. It works great.
The only way you can get more poweris to just apply a little brake, it act like a turbo of sorts. But too much and down she goes

 Weldngod -
Which kites have you tried it on it on and give us the skinny on how they handled with it. I've used xover rigs on bigger kites and wonder how this
compares.

Thanks,

i have only flown this bar twice on a 4.7 rage. it worked really well both powered up and landing, still tweaking it, but I really can't do more until
I get sheeting straps So now I am buildng a smaller bar for my smaller kites.I will try to fly my sprint and aces tommorow. They will tell the
story, as they don't like too much brake. My biggest prob is pulling on the bar, I keep wanting to hang on to it, which puts on the brakes. Just
gonna take a while to get used to it. I won't buggy w/ it until I get comfortable flying on the bar. More tommorow , had to cut it short today. High
tide was closing in on us and the wind was really bumpy and gusty. WELDNGOD on VIMEOhttps://vimeo.com/user2580342
