buggy transport
Things are running fine here. I finally bought my buggy, a Libre special which I had the opportunity to use several times and which I like very much.
But a problem occurs: the transport. Of course I can unscrew the front axe and put everything in the car after having removed the back seats. But I
thought of buying a bicycle fixing system for the car.
Any ideas? (roof, back of car?) any pics...

I prefer to take off the back axel and slide it all in the back seat. This is faster than taking off the front end, seat, wheels etc. and I think it
fits better in my car.
I once saw a buggy fixed to a rack on the back of a Smart car. The buggy was nearly as big as the car... hilarious!
I suggest modifying a luggage rack.
Hey, how is the Libre Special different than the other Libre models?

ok kitecrash, tnx for your fast answer...the problem is that removing the back seats everytime is boring and the car may be dirty if the buggy is wet
and so on
I saw a car with a rack on th ebakc...it's true that the buggy is huge compared to the card but it loks very parctical..I will go and check if i
can find something suitable and not to expensive...

I use my ski rack to attach a Lynn Competition to the top of my Rodeo. The Comp locks down well, but the axel of my Libre is too long and it over
shoots the width of my top. I also have to take the axel off and slide the Libre inside.
I'm sure you could get a luggage rack and modify it to carry a Libre. You would just have to make sure that it can withstand high speed and
corners without coming off.
Let us know what you come up with.

For the moment I'll keep taking the axel off... But wil try to obtain a pic of the system I saw in my region.. It looked terrific...

I can see the 1st pic but not the 2nd.
Definetly not for freeway use, but it looks like a good way to get several buggys between the field and the hotel/camping.

the two links work fine here...
check the second one...the guys in my region drive 500km like that to save space in the car...the policemen at the border always look astonished but
never stopped them
My dream would be to have a camping car...yesssssssss

Yes its a standard one...I am still looking for one like this. I found some but the two hlding bars where too high to put the buggy on
it...that's the whole problem

hmmm, looks like I need to make a trip to a bike shop or perhaps a discount sport center to take a closer look.
Are the bars a fixed part (welded?) or can they be removed, altered, and replaced?
I'll have to look into this because I also need a better way to transport my libre rather than disassembling the beast every weekend.
