Boston, MA area

Hey there all,

I have just moved to Boston and was wondering where are the best places (beach or land) where I can get back into power kiting. Its been a good few years since I took it out and keen to get back into it.

Thanks

Dan

Welcome back. There are a good number of fliers in the Boston area. For landboarding and buggies, Long Beach in Nahant is the most popular spot around but there are restrictions on the beach until after Labor Day.

For surfing, Seabrook, NH is popular, Dennis, MA and Revere Beach.

Where abouts are you and what kind of kiting are you looking to do?

I'm living in Somerville near Porter Square. I have an Ozone Access 4m. My board, which I never really got the hang off and needs shipping from the UK, is an MBS Core16. Though since I am out of practice I want to learn the basics again of the kite before treading the board again.

Thanks for your input.

If you're in Sommerville you aren't too far from Pope John Paul Park and Millenium Park too if you want to get out and do some flying prior to the end of restrictions at state beaches.
