About 1400 miles into trip across US. 1800 more. Hanging out in Denver, Co. Until late May 2. Since this trip is not just about me, and Carol (wife)
has a quilt in a show in Denver we need to be here for the first day of show. Heading south out of Denver through Amerillo, Dallas, then eventually
connecting with Interstate 10 East.
Woke to about 3 inches of snow this morning, still coming down. If all goes well, will be in Jekyll on the 7th. Hope to buggy in the afternoon.

The snow surprised us. Knew it was coming, but thought it would just snow the melt away. 6 inches later. We stayed at a park near the Wheat Ridge
green belt so the snow interfered with the plans to either ride our bikes to Golden or into Denver. Did have a couple of very good walks though. Carol
says thank you, enjoyed the show. Always a honor to get something in a juried show. Left town, this afternoon, got an introduction to Hugo, Co. Not a
fan! But the town does need to support their chief of police. Continuing East, tomorrow. Note to self, be aware of a rapid change in speed signs and
act accordingly.

Rain goes away Sunday and sunny all week. Highs in the upper 70's which is cool for the area, but as long as there is sun we should get the sea
breeze.

When you get wild Georgia shrimp you are close. They would kill me in minutes but locals seem to relish them. I prefer the local wind.
