I had alot of spare time today, waiting on parts to put my big project together with. Hurry up and wait. So I made myself useful w/ some 309L and carbon steel. So in essence I was doing an update to my certification for stainless/carbon steel alloy.

you are gonna need a 2 inch reciever hitch for your ride. But if all they will install is a1-1/4 inch reciever, then you will need an adapter. Northern Tool has all kinds of adapters for trailer hitches, that is where I would look for one if ya need it.

all the welds ,even the carbon steel/ carbon steel joints were done w/ 309L ,which is an alloy just for welding steel to stainless. The 309L is WAY stronger than regular 7018 or 70S, so your welds are NOT gonna fail. You will tear the carbon steel like paper before the welds break.

Very nice work - I like the notion of indestructible welds.

looks good except it needs a shim to make it sit up straight. Mine did the same thing until I shimmed it. I will bring one to WW for ya. It is almost MAY!!!!!!!
