Is the nice person who brought us internet junkies our fix going to be there again this year?

Don't know about the internet this year. We had the equipment in our fifth wheel and supplied power but I didn't supply the equipment and unfortunately Chip and I are not there this year.

I don't remember the name of who did the actual hookup of equipment.

The mesh / wi-fi network for the playa last year came from the hard work and dedication of the Murphy brothers. Unfortunately they were not able to make it this year. I brought gear to help them in there endeavors, but hence, I did not have space to bring the base power rigs that they worked on last year.

In my reality as a technologist, why do you want such a synthetic communication medium on the playa anyway? My time with my wind family is my escape from such a structured synthetic world.

Walk up to me, let me walk up to you, let us introduce ourselves, share a drink and talk face to face, share a compassionate embrace of commonality. That's where the real comraradery lies anyways.

For all you that really need a fix. Next year I will try to come up with a solar powered rig to include technologist / internet duties to my all ready existing duties and supply internet to the playa on my own. Just don't expect me to use it myself please. This is my escape from my binary world
