outside- constant 40-45 mph wind!!

We are having a classic "Northeaster" here in New England. Schools are cancelled and winds at my house are out of the north at 40-45mph CONSTANT!! Thats a 9 on the scale?! All over Cape Cod it is screaming!

Once again, one of my days off from work and impossible winds to fly in!

Did anyone around here try to fly today?

I'm working from home at the moment and watching the snow whip bast my windows and thinking, "Today is a good day to stay inside".

With the cold temps this week the snow should stick around so I'm looking forward to next weekend and hopefully getting out.

I went by Kalmus Beach in Hyannis today- that is a popular kiteboarding/windsurfing spot and there were 2 guys there.....sitting on the tailgate of their truck! I talked to them and they said no way would they even attempt to launch.
