I was looking on Google Maps for large parks to find a good snowkiting area. I found the largest in my general area was Catskill Park in New York. It looks like a large amount of forest areas, but I see open fields placed in there, and even the resevior that freezes over.

Has anyone from the New York area been to Catskill, or is anyone up for a road trip to find some interesting spots? I was thinking about going up on Dec. 29th (Saturday), considering its my birthday and all I want is to snowkite!
