Tomorrow is Christmas for me!
Anyone else getting their best beaches back due to Labor Day and the removal of life guards and Rangers?
It will be nice to go flying during mid-morning hours rather than 6am or after 6pm!:singing:

I haven't even attempted to hit the beaches this summer, it's just a nightmare. Cant wait now, weather is getting just right.

Yeah the local schools are already back in session and the beaches are clearing off. Even during the summer I have usually about 1-2 football fields
worth of space. Now it's nearly 4 miles, and it's still warm enough for the sea-breaze.
Now if I could only repel those afternon thunderstorms...

That looks like Long Beach Peninsula in Washington at low tide. Awesome stretch.
I was looking at Jeckyll Island on Google Earth. How is Cumberland Island for kiting, just south of you? Looks pretty open and less populated. Maybe
a winter road trip coming up...

It's a short season from here in for us. The days get short VERY fast and soon there isn't enough daylight after work to get out. The BIG WINDS of the
