I'm planning on Camping again myself... although the wife would prefer anywhere with a hot tub.

I am doing some research on this.
Looking for a house on the beach probably near SLP.
So far we have 6 people or so that are interested.
Please chime in if interested, I can post some ideas for different group sizes.

We are looking to do the same. The dilema with a beach house near slp is the insane drive everyday back up to East Beach when the event moves up there. It's a good 45 minute drive back to the pass with no traffic. To the original post, we'd be interested in sharing a house.

Planning to attend the DBBB for the first time. Does anyone have the dates yet? The website does not list them. I need to book my vacation time ASAP.

Is this like the NABX where there are pre-event activities as well? If you can only attend a limited number of days, what days are the most important in terms of group activities and such?

My 'signicant other' wants to stay at the Hotel Galvez, is it close the majority of the riding and social events?

We start celebrating dead bird the weekend before till the weekend after thanksgiving. I have not looked up the dates yet. The pre-event is held at san luis pass on the west end of the island and then the main event on east beach from Monday till the weekend after thanksgiving. The pass is about 20 miles west of town and east beach is just a few miles drive east of the Galvez. If you are able to be there for thanksgiving we deep fry turkeys on the beach and everyone brings a covered dish. Thanksgiving day is the only day we have anything organized.

i`m just hoping we can buggy,blokart right to the back door from the beach.

For the time being, I am abandoning the search for the beach house. I only have 3 responsible adults so far interested and need 6 do do it.
So, Glenn and I are booked into the Super 8 for the duration unless something happens before the event.
