Saturday Ride..
After finally riding at this years JIBE for the first time...even though I had attended a few years before.. I have continued with the new flavor.
Got some kites through a forum member and using a buggy another member purchased(temporarily) and got a few local enjoyable rides in at Huguenot in
Jax. One being at sunrise...very enjoyable
Anyways....I ventured North to a familiar location and met a local kiting friend for a day of riding. Afternoon wind came around as the tide drifted
out.. and I was lead on my first long ride to the tower and north to the bend. Sweet!
Figured some may enjoy a glimpse, even if shaky headcam footage.
Thanks for all the help everyone...here is to many more rides

I hit Treasure Island area pretty regularly for sport kites and buggy. Shout next time I venture down....maybe catch a ride somewhere closer to you.
I am still playing with small areas and turns. The long runs are fun also, but not a big speed demon yet.
The new ride arrived .... tried sharing in kite buggy section but post never worked. Maybe a photo issue, even with resizing...try again later.
Thanks all....can't wait for the next JIBE and some runs with all the folks. Although I live only an hour away...I may try and pitch a tent and hang
for the week. Sort of spoiled feeling with such a great spot not far away...makes riding local and fighting tiny beaches and fields almost depressing

In January of last year, I moved from Chicago back to where I am originally from, Georgia. We had one buggy spot inside the city that I could walk to
from my apartment (no car while I lived there). It was actually a great buggy beach, but the last few years, Lake Michigan has been rising, and the
beach flooded. So for the last two years that I lived in Chicago, I could only buggy once a year at JIBE. If I had a vehicle while we lived there, I
could have done some travelling, but that wasn't the case. Now that I live in Atlanta, I don't even blink when it comes to driving the 4-6 hours to
get to one of the coastal islands for wind sports. I have been to Tybee Island several times just in the months that I have been back in the state,
and I will be making JIBE again this year, and probably some special trips to Jekyll on my own anyway.

Shout anytime ... if I can make it I will. All I do is fly from Indoors to ...what's next? Think I am buggy hooked for awhile..
Not many fliers around for regular hook up, regardless of genre. Buggying is a great solo ride....not that more than 1 isn't fun.
Been enjoying the bigger ride. Riding local in Jax as much as mother nature allows. Getting bar spoiled and need to strop up and take the handles for
some airtime. 🤙
Can't wait for J.I.B.E this year.....but 10/15 onshore with an evening low tide Friday will help ease the jones for a moment 😁

Ended up being more Nne. Lots of cross beach riding for me...
This evening at sunset brought some smooth upper teen speeds in low wind on the 12 and awesome colors throughout the sky in Jax. https://www.instagram.com/p/BsjvGmMjvu3/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=1gdvxue0f3dro
