Big day on the horizon!
Well, as most of the NE coast, the rains were wicked yesterday, the beach disappeared from a coastal surge, and now it is steady draining and
beginning to dry out. Now wind today so no big deal. Tomorrow, now that's a different story. Forecast is for 13-15 mph SSE, (almost perfect)
building to 20mph by dinner time. The hard pack is over 100 yards wide and there is a second strip up by the dunes that is another 100 yards wide that
will provide plenty of rideable surface till tide goes out around 12 ish. Looking forward to kicking up some sand tomorrow.
Folks are rolling in a little at a time, buggy camp is officially open and starting to fill in. Should be a stellar event with the winds and temps in
the forecast! More updates as they come!

Light winds currently as the sun is just now burning off the fog. Few kites and biggies going down the beach. Hopefully the sun will now help create a
nice sea breeze and get the winds where they are forecast to be.

Well the winds finally turned on around 4pm. Hit to 44.3mph with 12m Phantom. Phenomenal day!
Will post the pic of the GPS which was also verified :D as soon as I can figure out how. Haven't posted a pic in a long time, and it's too big for the
file insert option.

Thanks Mark. Wanted to and tried to go faster, but I couldn't hold my line with the 12m as it was dragging me sideway at times. Switched down to the
9m and that was just in time for a wind drop shortly there after.

Edited Jeff so as to make more sense. Could have used a bit more south in the wind to help out though.

How can anyone in the powerkite world not love you and the great work you do?
Other than that, thanks for the wind direction clarification.
We need a few pictures to help the loss of not going for a few of us who are stuck far far away.
