Found: Peak 1 or 2 6m or 9m

Looking for my first depower kite for snow this year. I have a 4m Scout, but find it underpowered. I am looking for the kite that will give me the most usable days out. Not sure if that is the 6m or 9m Peak. I weigh 150lbs, and average winds are 10-18mph.

go here:
http://www.hardwaterkiter.com/flysurfer-peak-2.html

A wind range chart is on this page BUT.....

.... might be best to first talk with Chris(contact link at top)- the owner, about your skill level, locations you fly, etc.

I don't know of anyone better to help you...and with more actual Peak use/experience/knowledge.

Good luck..

I agree with Tuck; hit up Chris for information on the Peaks. I got all four of my Peaks from him and he was very useful all along the way. Great source of information and guidance.

Thanks guys. I did contact Chris, and he had some great info. I have a line on a good deal on the 9m peak1 so I think I will go for it. The great thing is I work from home and have a big field right outside my front door, so I can pretty much wait till the conditions are right for my kite, and then run outside to play:)
