Pansh Aurora 8m plastic pulley version

Today a kiter pitched up with a new Pansh Aurora 8m plastic pulley version with bar and lines.

Doesn't fly out of the bag.

I added 25cm leader lines to the top lines.
Shorten the B-line speed system 7cm.
And shorten the Z-line 6cm.

After those mods it flew pretty good. Flys in 5 knots.
Quick and tight turning. And generates lots of power on apparent wind!

Lofty power!
Not a beginner kite. Foil experience and higher aspect ratio kite experience required. Or experienced instruction and lots of practice!
But easier than a FB race kite.

Bar and lines decent quality. No instructions on hooking up the lines, so one needs experienced help with either setting up the 5th line safety or 4-line front line safety with leash. The Chicken loop is too large for anyone with short arms or short reach. So would recommend a different loop for smaller riders.

Yeah but after adjustments, the Aurora is a great kite.
I have the 12m Aurora I, and I love it. It's light, very tough, and flies static in 4-5knots!
For kitesurfing, I can manage to go upwind and do more mowing than jumps, in around 12knots.
15knots+ and the Aurora is a bloody fantastic kite.
But yeah, you have to be patient and adjust the bridles to suit your riding style.
I just use a 24m set of lines out with a Slingshot 4-line bar. Don't bother with the 5th.
