On the other hand, now that I think about it, wasn't it the real estate developers at SLP that cut off everyone's access to the public beach? Screw
them too. So either end of the island is still OK by me. What do y'all say? |

I'll be down at SLP this sunday , the 22nd. Bringing some food to grill if anyone will be there. There are other routes to get out to the beach at
SLP besides the road with the pond in the middle. You can drive along the causeway to get out to the beach also.
I'll try to come down to SLP here and there .. not sure about East Beach. I've learned to stay away from that end of the island.

Its way more peaceful and civilized at San Luis Pass but general conscenses is always to the East end.
 ...but you already know that:P

 Heres another vote for SLP

I think I'll join Van Sunday and skip SLP today as well.

At 35 MPH blowing towards the ocean, it's WAY too windy and dangerous, not to mention the current rain will make things muddy.

Welp... seems most have said that SLP is their preferred beach... so not sure why we still even consider the East End for anything but the weekend
after Turkey Day.

Mid-week weather forecast looks phenomenal. Onshore winds + temps in the 70's. |
