It looks like a haka to me as well. Not that I've ever flown one or seen one up close but the patter seems the same.
Was just curious.

It might have been a deliberate alteration to avoid copyright issues, but the Haka doesn't come to a point at the center of the leading edge. It's
blunted by the Ozone logo.
 
You would need to mash-up some elements of the PKD Brooza to get the rest of the way.

IIRC from the discussion that occurred when the logo was modernized / revamped, it was based on the brooza.
