Luckily, tides won't be as wonky as the last few days here. With a full moon, astronomical high tides and strong east winds, the St. Simons Island
causeway was under water and closed, and water was in the streets in downtown Brunswick.

I've been out, uh, grooming the beach for y'all. Can't wait for that steady East wind and JIBE - lots of lumpy N and NW wind this winter.
Talking JIBE up to the locals - may get a few newbies. Damn, what a first kitin' day that would be - sky full of color, folks zoomin' past....
And warmth - sure do miss the heat...
