IBB
Its been brought to my attention that I am out to destroy, undermind, ruin IBB.
That is the furthest from the truth. I want nothing more than to see IBB succeed beyond all possible expectations.
Those incharge have worked way to hard to not support the event.
The racing aspect being promoted by NAPKA is all about learning and developing your skills to safely race with out anyone being hurt. We have people
who are willing to help and teach and one on one with those that need it.
Dont worry if you havent got a clue, cause we will be giving out a bunch of them.
The fact that you can ride and ride and actually get lost if you wander to far is one of the attractions of Ivanpah. A chance to ride with people you
only hear about, text with, or read about on this forum. A chance to develope a years worth of skills in 5 days is not a bad school to attend.
The casinos, the night life, parties, and what ever else you want to do.
Where else can you do all of this in one spot?
I hope many of you that have been on the fence about IBB would come and see. Give us a chance to show you the things we have planed for you all. For
you that made up your minds long ago to pass on this event, give it a second thought.
For all of you that are going, stop by and say hi, I dont bite. If you need a hug, I will have to request dinner and flowers. unless your really cute.
Hope to see you all there.

what an odd post ... not this crap again.
guess not everyone is for RACING. I guess driving back and fourth in a straight is means you know how to buggy. Driving around in a course is out of
the question for most. LOL. how does one progress without pushing the limits.
take it with a grain of salt, there is one in every group. do what you do and keep riding.

Great post Jeff. IBB is going to be an awesome event and will have a little bit of everything for everyone. The great thing about Ivanpah is that it
is large enough to accommodate everyone and everything. Racing will be awesome and will let those that want to race learn with the best. I am really
excited to actually have live sanctioned events as well as lessons and tutorials. If Racing is not your thing, there will be more than enough room to
ride/explore all the awesome wonders of Ivanpah and the Mojave desert. As Jeff mentioned, the Vegas lifestyle is also only a short drive away so even
if buggying is not your 'thang' there is plenty of other things that you can do.
Can't wait to get out on the playa with all my friends again.
Thank you Jeff for your support as well as the rest of the IBB committee.

Maybe racing isn't for everyone... But everyone does need the skills to navigate around a set course in a safe manner for all around. It'll be good to
learn from those who are experienced. Great they are willing to share.
Bigkid trying to destroy ibb? No way.
See you all on the playa!

From where I sit it looks to me like you are the catalyst behind the Vancouver crew returning to the desert Jeff.
If you had not offered to haul gear ( again ) I am not sure they would have gone.
I don't go to the desert to race. It just isn't my thing. I go to meet up with all sorts of amazing fellow kiters. Try out some new gear. Share
stories and tip etc.. Dry out from Van. winters. The place is a giant playground with plenty of room for everybody to do their own thing. IB2 isn't
about racing or jumping or top speed although it's there for you to try. It's about building community and enjoying the community that exists, FOR ME
!
P.S. Huge prop's to all who are sticking their necks out to keep this event alive ! :bigok:

Heck... I'll SEND chocolates for that picture
Just don't spoil him Dino, we want hugs from him at WBB too.
End hijack.
The new website looks great and I'm completely envious of everyone that gets to enjoy the privilege that is Ivanpah.
Go ahead... tell me to "go fly a kite!" Please!

Jeff, any of us that know you well will know that the amount of devotion you have to the sport is very large! You have been a great ambassador for
the sport and enjoy trying new things to help others out. I know that it is far from the truth and I hope all this works itself out and the event
turns out better than expected!
No hugs needed here, just a few snacks to give to my buddy Levi!

Hell I got a room, maybe we can make it a double date:megan:
Bladerunner, you making it? Sean will be there, my cousin that made your rims... It'd be kool to introduce you two...
This event to me (and I think I can speak for my pops too) is an event I look forward to every year, start planning after the past events... This is
my family reunion, as I consider most my family (and look forward to add to my family every year)...
It's amazing the acts of human kind that take place on the playa, this is just seen much anymore in most societies now days...
I love getting harassed and harassing back with most of you, sitting around and shooting the #@%$#! after a day of kiting, sharing a beer (not the
same beer Dino!!) and sharing stories of the day buggying, playing cross boccie during the no wind times...
Yah know... I wish this happened every three months, I enjoy riding and you all that much, well I don't know about Jeff :P (JK)...
Sorry don't want this to feel all mushy, so I hope to see you all there and get a chance visit!!!

How great that I can meet Sean . Still running those bullet proof rims ! Unfortunately they still have only taken me to the same 39mph that I hit on
the plastic ones. I'm starting to think the barrier is more in my mind than my equipment ?

Rich,
No hugs needed here, just a few snacks to give to my buddy Levi!
Spoiled Levi modeling his playa doggles and his personal playa 4x4. He doesnt need any snacks
Levi is my buggy buddy, he rides in his bag on the back of my bug. Much like Bo and kitemaker 4.
Thanks guys for the good words, and I do like chocolate.
