| What second kite to get?

I've been flying a flexifoil sting 3.3 and I want to get another kite but I'm not sure what to get I'm thinking something like a Beamer 4 metre. Any
suggestions?

Yeah I wasn't sure how much of a difference it would make.I'm only 15 so I'm not sure if a 5 metre would be too much.

age isn't a thing...just like size isn't black and white...not to me...just got to be mentally in the game and try not to do stupid stuff..but we are
guys and that is easier said than done.. I say get your 5 or go dp but the beamer is just a touch bigger than what you have and I think a milder
design...i say go bigger....and ukno to start in lighter winds US-31...Cquad set/ 2.5 Bullet/ 2.6 Viper/ 2.9m Reactor/ 2- 3.5m Bullet/ 3.6 Beamer/ 4m Buster/ 4m Toxic/ 4m Ikon dp/ 4.5 Bullet/ 4.9m Blade/ 5.6

Agreed. Also, not sure what's your interest other than static flying...you may need to get in the de-powered kite as well.

Most people land boarding with a bar, and I think depowered kites are more popular with land boarding as well. So you could just use your sting to
practice static flying and get either a depowered kite or a board next.
I'm sure a lot of others land boarders will give you advise pretty soon.

Static flying is so much fun...put some tunes on....feel the sun on your face....look at the beautiful sky while flying a kite... You will become
quite a pilot and when the time is right to get on a landboard or buggy, you'll be amazed on how quickly you pick it up since the kite control will be
there....
I would agree with what was said above that a 5m (if winds around you aren't that crazy gusty crap) would be a great step up.. The flexifoil rages
are a lot of fun to fly static...low lift...and great engines....if you are on a budget then look at some of the older bullets....

Are there any kiting/buggy events around you? if so, that would be a great place for you to start....you can look, borrow and try almost anything out
first before you buy......Harnesses are like shoes...what one person loves...another will hate...Everyone has their favorite. Landboarding, buggies,
water....they all have different qualities especially depending on what you are flying...
Basically if you are on handles you would run a strop (a piece of climbing rope) between the handles...this is turn would go to some type of hook or
pulley. They take the load off of your arms and distribute it your waist....makes flying longer a lot easier...

start typing these things into youTube...there are a ton of videos showing the how to's...

A harness is basically to allow you to hold the power of the kite with your whole body rather than just your arms. This means you can fly for much
longer and jump higher etc.
I would spend your money on a board and a harness if I were you. The 3m will get you going landboarding and then if you enjoy it you should move to a
depowerable kite as soon as you can.

Just to give you an idea, this is a sort of rule-of-thumb for fixed bridle kites, double the kite size will give you 4 times the power. So you can see
going for a 5m will be over twice to three times the power of your 3m. So you will be able to fly in lower wind with the same power as your 3m. Hence
the reason we build-up a quiver so you can match your kite size to the wind conditions or type of flying you're doing. Blade V 4.9m & 8.5m VIP,Ozone Frenzy 11m, SS Flexifoil buggy, PL hybrid suspension buggy (PTW), MBS core 95.

It varies, but look through the "For Sale" section would give you a general idea on how much the used depowered kites cost. You should be able to get
one here RTF around $300-400. If your interest is on landboarding and on a budget, I'd say your next purchase should go towards either a board, or a
depowered kite and harness. You can't really use the depowered kite without some sort of harness.

depends,,how much do u have??? nahh..a 3m and a board is all u need..i was fine for the first few months like that..than i added the harness and was
good for a while longer..than went to some dp to start going up some instead of just forward and back(very simplified)...seamed like a proper and
frugal way and i have no regrets...but you can go about this however you want and dont forget the helmet it can make the difference in your life not
just the day US-31...Cquad set/ 2.5 Bullet/ 2.6 Viper/ 2.9m Reactor/ 2- 3.5m Bullet/ 3.6 Beamer/ 4m Buster/ 4m Toxic/ 4m Ikon dp/ 4.5 Bullet/ 4.9m Blade/ 5.6
