Made some more new friends today had a blast sharing the Jekyll sand. Learned tons of good info. That beach was smooth as ice in most places. Never seen anything like that before. Loaded up on 100 SPF sunblock and still baked. The sun, she is intense lol.
Can't wait til tomorrow to do it all again.

Getting a little antsy sitting here waiting for my 06:30 flight. Wonder if they allow hitch hikers on the runway?

Oops, sorry I've been drinking your beer the last couple of days but the are still a few left at the Jekyll island store.

Good day today out riding with Jason, Andrew, Ted, Don and Angus came by to check on us and Scott took photos and attempted to sort out his RC paraglider dude.
Nice day for cruising, it was hot and humid but very comfortable with the afternoon breeze. Ran down to south water tower and past the north water tower a few times and played in the middle a lot - a good day.

I will be showing up with Itay early tomorrow morning. We have the car packed last night and We are leaving straight after work today around 4pm central. Markite, I know you guys don't get that stuff up in Scandanadia, so don't over do it. They go down easy :) I still need to work up a cup holder(can holder) for the bug for cruising. Do you think they even have laws for KUI? Did I say that out loud?

Excited to see faces from last year and new faces as well!!!

I'm gonna get there early tomorrow, probably around 10am.

Angus, my wife is promoting the event for you too, ... she saw Peter and a friend of his flying on the beach yesterday and made sure to tell them about JIBE (not knowing Peter of course)... He said of course he'd be there... I'm sure with his whole KAP rig too.

Nice JIBE write up on Weatherflow Facebook page.
They are the ones that operate the commercial weather station located at the JIBE parking lot.

https://www.facebook.com/windalert

https://www.facebook.com/iKitesurf

They will publicize the event ahead of time next year.

Yesterday was so great, that I almost don't mind the rain today.
I'm ranking it in the top 5% of all the days that I've plunked myself in the seat.
Whoever ordered that shower while I ate lunch, knew how to clear stragglers off the beach.
