| No more tangles

I used to attach my lines together similar to this at pack up. Some folks may like the method but I found I never trusted it and " I walk the line " .http://www.cabrinhakites.com/new-line-management-system.html
Even when I leave my lines attached I do something I can't figure out and end up with at least 1 twist / rotation ? Not a big deal since I have come
to expect it but ????

Is it the general consensus to disconnect the lines when you wrap up for storage/travel? Or would this be for long term storage? Is this stow used
specifically for LEI, Bow?
I was shown a way to wrap the kite/lines (and I love it) but I don't disconnect the kite/lines/handles. As long as I wrap (figure 8) I unwrap the same
way, and pull the kite and It's up. And yea, I MIGHT have to twist the handles once or twice, but that's VERY rare. It takes me no more than 5 minutes
to launch or stow my kite. This method serves me very well, and I haven't had a problem since I started using it. Thanks to the guy (forgive me, I
forgot your name) who showed me at JIBE this last season. I still use that method.

From my (limited) experience, I have found that no matter what, as long as I wrap/unwrap the line/kite the same way every time I NEVER have tangles.

cheers

Never detach lines from a foil. I always parapack my kites with handles and have spinning chicken loops on my depowers so twists are never really a
problem. Depower Quiver: 14m Gin Eskimo, 10m Gin Eskimo III, 6m Gin Yeti, 4.5m Gin Yeti (custom bridle and mixer)Fixed Bridle Quiver: MAC Bego 400, JOJO ET Instinct 2.5 & 5.5, Lil Devil 1.5, Sting 1.2

Is there any consensus on best way ? With my slippery lines on my rev style, I first wind up one side/set, then the other (on same winder). Otherwise
I have issues with the thin lines. And better to spend 5 minutes more and save myself from 30+ minutes not being able to undo the lines.
I have packed parachutes hundreds of times. But it is different as that one goes into a back that is really too small, and lines are separated by
having all turns inside rubber bands.

I can see how the "para packing" might work for stiff lines, given a tight packing of the kite to hold it. And I consider trying it.
